Aliquotcairn Support

Practical help for coded intake, volume planning, tube maps, transfer runs, and evidence export.

Start a project

Open Intake and choose New. Add a descriptive project name and code, then enter a coded source ID, material, source volume, concentration, received time, storage context, and lot or run reference.

Build a plan

Enter the requested count, target per tube, container capacity, dead volume, protected reserve, operator, SOP reference, destination, and rack dimensions. Resolve blocking checks before execution.

Read the volume balance

Available volume equals source volume minus dead volume and protected reserve. Planned draw equals requested count times target volume. Planned residual is the remainder after both. Values are normalized to microliters for the calculation.

Generate the tube map

Generate tube map assigns deterministic tube IDs and coordinates. Regeneration preserves matching actual values and history while applying current target and destination details.

Record a transfer

Open Run, work through the checklist, and choose Record transfer. Enter the measured actual volume, operator, and note. Over-capacity entries are held for review rather than silently accepted.

Review a tube

Choose a rack cell or tube-register row to inspect its coordinate, ID, status, planned and actual volume, location, note, and recorded freeze/thaw count.

Export evidence

Open Evidence and choose Build evidence packet. Aliquotcairn creates a bench PDF, tube-manifest CSV, event-history CSV, JSON snapshot, and Code 128 tube-label PDF for sharing.

Local data

Projects save automatically on the device. Aliquotcairn has no login or sync service. Device backups and exported files are controlled through Apple and the destinations you choose.

Method boundary

Aliquotcairn is a planning and documentation tool. It does not prescribe aliquot size, storage temperature, tube material, process acceptance, reuse, specimen suitability, or patient-care decisions.

Before contacting support

Include the device model, iOS or iPadOS version, Aliquotcairn version, the screen involved, and reproducible steps. Do not include confidential identifiers or laboratory records unless you deliberately choose to share them.
